  1. So on doka they would be at back of the extended under seat storage area?

This is what a single cab looks like from the locker through to tank area, those panels bolt here you can see captive nuts

  6. Hi,

For a doka the firewall is in the same position as a pick up, see below picture of the firewall shields installed:

  7. Thanks Richard that is excellent and just what I needed. We have gone ahead and purchased a pair.
Your picture sort of answers another question that raised itself when I was looking at my daughters doka this morning. The beam across the back of the cab has a large hole and I was wondering why but I see you have a plastic cowl thingy over the hole. Tell me more! Is it some sort of heating channel? Are the plastic cowls available new - what are they called?
    Many thanks

It's part of a air intake system from the little louvres on the cab rear pillar to the air filter in the engine bay via the large load bed support member, again same as single cab, little plastic bit I imagine is rocking horse poo rare!

  9. Hi,

Flakey was faster, only to add to the very complete response see picture with the full part. I do not know if/ where this can be ordered new. I think you will need some luck to find this item.

  10. Cheers guys - great info:)
I guess we will end up trying to fabricate some alternative to the plastic bits when we get to that stage:(
If you happen to see the bits anywhere please give us a heads up

I'll point out it only works if you have stock air filter with a tube to the corresponding hole in the rhs of the beam in the engine bay

  12. seems a bit elaborate. Why so different to a bus?

I guess because they don't have two big forward scooping vents in the rear corners, the louvres in the lower side panels don't vent into the same place

  18. no but thinking of trying it out. the side windows are the same measurements as split pop outs so should be doable!
