Made up and fitted lhs rear
Solid brake line and fitted flexi hose.
Fitted drive shaft and cvs
Also fitted hand brake cable

 

Hopefully I can grab a bit of time tmw
I've the other driveshaft to fit
A rigid brake line to run to the front
Then the wheels can go on and the back end can go back down on the ground.

 

bump stop?

It was supposed to be started a fortnight ago
I'd better give the builder a call to see if it's ready yet.

 

Crack on then sunshine, get on the phone, you don't wanna be sat sitting there with a van ready to go and an engine still being built.

 

I'm gonna get advance warning of his route and have all the roads washed before he gets there.

 

Fitted the other driveshaft
I'm short of three bolts for some reason
So I will have to come back to it



Spoke to the engine builder and he will be starting the build of mine at the end of next week.

 

Underside is look rather tidy now mate.

It's starting to feel like I'm getting somewhere now.

 

Last three cv bolts fitted and wheels put on.
I need to get someone to hold the wheel whilst I torque the bolts up
Then I can drop the back end down.

 

Refitted the side bars
These and the bumpers need stripping and re painting but that can come after it's on the road.
I'm going to coat them in upol raptor.

 

Looking awesome, will try and dig out those rain guards, completely forgot, they might be in the cellar.
