Fitted the runners on the drawers in the bus & finally finished painting the roof of the boat. Boat painting outdoors is a nightmare... The weather has either been too hot, too cold, too wet, too sunny or too windy! I've extended the grey over the handrail and down the sides of the boat which has involved lots of measuring, masking and deep breaths. Just the side hatch and pigeon box to do but they're easy peasy. But it's done now so we can light the fire & cover it all in soot! (oh & that container on the pontoon has just been filled with 22.5 litres of the next Pinot Grigio brew-up, happy days)!
Coach enamel. As they're non-standard boat colours, ie can't get aircraft grey or aircraft grey green ready mixed, I get them mixed at a paint factors in Derby. They do all the additives for extending drying times etc
Gone camping near Lincoln in this for one night, missus is doing the Lincoln half marathon tomorrow morning so may as well be near the start.
Only if you think gardening's interesting? Abandoned the idea I started 3 years ago for a beer bottle feature I an old pond as I never finished it any it was just an overgrown wilderness Think I'm just going to smash it up and turf over it now!
