    Made it home without overheating, but did drive very slowly.

    Thanks to @davidoft, @zedders, @mikedjames, and all the others who poked at my engine and agreed it runs too hot. Neither the tweaks we did to the timing or the mixture made any difference to the temperature - but thanks all for your help, ideas and suggestions.

    Thanks also to @pkrboo and @theBusmonkey for letting me crawl around under their vans seeing how bits are fitted.

    Great weekend - looking forward to April now :)

    Buses bring friends together ...and friends bring buses together . It was a brill weekend ...love it at High Cross .
    Loads of blackberry's down the Fosse way . I bet it will be blackberry crumble at Eddy's daughters wedding reception :D

    Safely home, with a lovely new worry gauge to gaze at whilst driving, and the only issue being I managed to blow up the cigarette lighter socket somehow.
    Top weekend, and thanks to everyone who helped with my electrickery bits and oil temperature gauge. Bring on April :)

    Just got back and forgot to give back the bedding I was lent by the B&B, so back there again in 10 days :rolleyes:
    Anyway great weekend and cant wait to see the M6 again.
