  1. We'll be in our van for the first time if we can keep it going at the level of rich its running!

can find plenty for anyone to point at and let us know what's wrong...

anyone got a gas analyzer they could bring along and show us how to use them...

  4. I've seen a mobile wood fired pizza oven van before, camping somewhere. Bizarre. Who first said 'I know, we'll get a huge van, put a vast concrete wood burning oven in it, probably over the petrol tank, set fire to it, then drive off to a campsite and sell, ooh, ten pizzas for around £3 each and see if we can
    A) make a profit and
    B) not die in a fireball.'
    ?
Tried the oven out properly on Sun with 14 people. Great fun if slow, everyone went home reeking of woodsmoke and coughing heavily. Gotta sort out a better chimney.

I always have to stop myself putting an 'X' at the end of posts. Does anyone else have that struggle?

Yes, as I had so much spare time. Tho I did have to spend some time watching folk working on their vans just so I could see exactly what I don't need to do :D x

  15. not for this one but maybe 2017 .
how far do you guys go if I bring a press a blow torch and all to tools is fitting a narrow beam .
is that rediculas ?? I've done nastier looking jobs on site.

happy to get stuck in and do all the work just feels like a 2 man job.

or how about a new loom instead if a beam is to hard core ?

Lord Congi and 1973daisey like this.
  16. Hmmm nothing to hard core just as long as u bring the correct tools ect I did rear wheel bearings in April

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    But not both.
Ed has a 4 post lift under cover. You would want to be 100% sure you have all the parts you might need or you'll be stranded. We've done drive there/drive home top end rebuilds many times on the grass. A beam swap is easy. :)

Are these the sort of things that are doable, or am I sprinting before I can crawl?

Headliner on sliding sun roof - mine has tears in.

A leisure battery connection! I have no leisure battery and think I may like to fit one.
