I once called them, ordered ICT's, specificied all jets and emulsions icluding f6.
Guess what, despite assurances that although I was wrong and they knew best they would jet as I requested. They still came with f78 etc but I did get them to do the swap at their expense. Several days delay of course which was annoying but this is the only time I got what I wanted without shelling out more dosh. The cynic in me says they do it on purpose to extract more sales.

I've ordered new emulsions. I will see what they say Monday.

  3. Out of interest.. what do the 34 webber ones give you over the stock twin Solex? ... apart from no brass bits in your cylinders hopefully

New, no worn parts, shiny, start a fresh, not 40yrs old, serviceable locally at places that stock weber parts, shiny, more commonly known in my circle of contacts, parts readily available, shiny,

Simplicity, it won't go any better than sorted solex's. :)

True. But simplicity is the key. I have a stressful life as it is. I want to enjoy the camper.

Yes. Once sorted out, carbs should not need any further attention

Sprayed the alt tin this morning. Left it in the sun to bake.

Put a terminal block on to tidy up all the wiring and cleaned the engine bay up and put heat shrink on everything.

I can make an engine look nice that's all I know. Oh and obligatory redbull coil for now until I have to upgrade.

It was a mess before. Will upload a finished pic later.

My snail fan Is permanently on. No relay. @davidoft promised me one about 10 years ago but I think he was just teasing me.

I think I have covered all angles so far. Just one cable left to do from starter to alt. And a connector which snapped off.

  19. Eurocarb are just the distributors and honestly don`t give a Marmitet .
Can you imagine them having to open each box , split the carbs , replace the rubbish that turns up from the manufacturers with a correct set up , rebuild the carb and re-box .
Oh , and now do the other one ....

It`ll never happen , although they are clearly supplying goods not fit for purpose .

Hope all turns out well @PSG
