Some of you lot are taking this thread far too seriously, nothing on here so far even comes close to the Chuckle Brothers
I think this fails on two counts, first of all dean Gaffney is not famous, secondly you poor sister is one of quite a few who have done rudies with him.
I met The Slits coming out of the back door of Hemel Hempstead Pavilion after their sound check in 1978. Got chatting to them and we went to The Harry by the market for a couple of pints!
Many years ago, our daughter and her friends wanted to see Take That in York. One of the parents took them into York and we drew the short straw to go in (from Malton) to collect them after the concert. When we arrived, they were all excited saying "Take That are staying at the Holiday Inn, please can we go there." So, reluctantly, we traipsed off down there. We could see TT through the glass doors but the bouncers wouldn't let the kids in. However, us adults were fine, so in we went ordered a couple of drinks at the bar and started chatting to Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Howard whatshisname and the rest. The kids were green with envy watching us from outside. TT generously signed their autographs for the kids so all was ok. Shame it wasn't the Chuckle Brothers but you can't have everything in life!
