If any Inner Politician grabs control of either main party they're finished, are they deaf or just ignoring what has just happened, When there's a general election all of those that went against their constituents will be voted out anyway and that's most of them
I'm no particular fan, but the way labour have decided their membership is wrong both on the Brexit poll and their choice of leader is so arrogant none deserve to be an MP. In or out, people are genuinely sick of the misrepresentation of their wishes by politicians with their own agendas and this goes for in and out voters unless the in are a just bunch of sycophants in disguise.
I'm afraid the same old will prevail at a general election ... take here where I live the tory won the last election with 60.7% of the vote, the rest was split between 4 parties ... he said he was voting remain. The outcome here was 52% voting for remain, some of voting remain will have been greens, lib gems, Lab. I just don't see people round here changing their tory spots, so the same bloke is going to get back in. How many more like this will there be? Mind his Facebook page says The Conservative government delivered on the pledge for the #EURef. It is the fullest democratic participative process possible; polls are now closed; and we await the decision of the British people. Whatever that decision is, we must accept it with positivity and all come together. Then after the vote was announced: This was as full a participative democratic process as you could get. Economists, businesses and others had set out their analysis. The debate engaged all sections of society. The turnout was high. The people have spoken and it is now up to everyone in politics and public life to move forward with positivity and purpose. Our country is in a new era and on a new path. We must focus all energies on getting the best possible outcome for Britain. Footnote: He doesn't actually say he will support the decision.
As expected the Germans are making threats. The bully boys are at it again. Throwing their weight around as usual. I don't see EU countries refusing to trade with us, it wouldn't be in their interests to do that. The Germans are upset we decided to leave their club but from their attitude and behaviour its a good thing we are leaving. Cameron is out there seeking peaceful talks and as last time, the Germans are giving him a bad time. The Germans always want a fight and they don't seem to be able to talk and negotiate peacefully. Its looking more like a divorce. The shock of a partner deciding to leave. The other party is upset and makes threats. Each party wants their own terms. Eventually there has to be an agreement and settlement. A peaceful settlement is the only way for the parties to move on. Cameron keeps his cool and politely discusses things, that's the British way.
In a relationship if one party leaves then which one usually does best. Its an irrelevant simile anyway as there were 28 people in the relationship (wonder how the moonies did divorce?)
We can but hope but I think the Clash summed our position up pretty well Should I stay or should I go now? If I go there will be trouble An' if I stay it will be double
According to a german taxi driver I was speaking to before referendum, many working class Germans are sick of the present situation and will be pressing for their own referendum as they feel that the rich countries are bankrolling the Balkan nations in the EU. They it seems also want out.
What are the 'red lines' for leave voters given that the Boris camp and the Nigel camp are backtracking on different parts of their claims: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-36641390
I would like you and all other inner's not to be any kind of sycophants, I would like it if all the electorate got representation rather than lectures from their representatives and on this point I would like it if whether in or out, all can agree.
BMW have just settled with US for 11 billion dollars. This is why we've been flooded with beamers for the past few years. They do need us.
A Clash fan i may ge but dont listen to em! Rocking the Casbah didnt do us any good! Indeed fighting the law didnt turn out well for them!
