There won't be a 're run. It is a done deal.

  9. and that is how it should be otherwise there was no point in the whole exercise.

  10. Not quite. I predict there will be some renegotiation followed by a General Election with the winner having in their manifesto a pledge to remain in the EU.

We'll see. This still has to be triggered by our government before anything happens. EU that was crying that we might leave is now saying they should fast track our leaving. Lol. Games. At same time they're saying they look forward to a close and positive relationship with us. Games.

  12. I dont. I think the EU will want rid of us as quickly as possible and making as painful as possible. They won't want us to be a continuing thorn in their side.

  13. I agree if they make it difficult everyones gonna say told you so and glad to get out and other Countries might leave.

Am trying to work out if you're being serious or not! As I understand it, the referendum outcome is not legally binding on the government, so they could, in theory, just ignore it. That won't happen.

By the way, we could also, in theory, at some point in the distant future, say we want back in. Nothing stopping us.

What I mean is, the Lisbon Treaty thingy provides the mechanism to get out. It also provides the mechanism to go back in again.

It's either see the collapse of Europe as is, in which I predict war as Russia retakes it's fringe states by force (stand by for that immigration) or maybe the EU gives Brussels and the cronies a royal kick up the Arse to reform and it might move to something more balanced and less corrupt.

The sad part is this might trigger changes into a Europe we might actually like.

    Hey ho.
