Hello from the depths of the New Forest; nice looking bus and in the best colour ....despite what they'd have you believe on here
Because no one in ireland had a campervan in the 70's you were allowed a caravan by the sea but it would be so rusty it could never be moved (just Like Fr Ted).
Hello and welcome. I had a T shirt like that but someone nicked it off the washing line at the Sandringham camp site in 2003. Was it you?
The interior was crusty, so I pulled it all out! Going to make new units for it. I have the original Devon pull out cooker and two bunks, full width r&r bed, and a sink. Ah well it needs a bit of work before I can join you, it's not quite as solid as I once thought! Ha no I don't think so, I was only 15 in 2003...! It has uk plates because I bought it from someone in the north of Ireland, in the process of getting myself some Irish plates at the mo.
Ah sure it 'ill be grand, we're not gone health and safety mad like our friends across the water and expect a roadworthyness test. If any vehicle has lasted since before 1980 what could possibly be wrong with it.
Hello from Sheffield. I had one of those t shirts too . Nice van Now I don't profess to be an expert on body language but your other halfs stance says "oh my goodness what's he done now" to me
nice one. mine is a panel van so never had an interior. going to make up something but not quite sure yet.
Haha no, despite the stance she actually loves Rusty! Cool, I'll Have a look at your resto thread now! are you on any of the Irish forums? hey, that's funny I was in Manchester twice in the last few weeks, too many pies and ales consumed! Cheers, the bus is a bit of long term project...! The tunnel isn't mine, I just rent a space to store the bus as I live in an apartment with no storage.
