1st TECHENDERS/MEET OF 2016 APRIL 23/24 WHO'S COMING?

After nearly a year trying to sort out my fridge it now works on 12v thanks to @Dicky. (I only meant to ask your advice - didn't expect you to fix the damn thing!) Works perfectly now. Also got my rear indicator working thanks to @SkutterBob So not only did I get 2 longstanding problems sorted out but learnt a lot about electrics in the process which is really what TE is all about. Thanks a lot to you guys.

 

But did you manage to extract the damaged screw?

 

Yes and no - I was going to put this on my screw thread. @SkutterBob brought a dremel which was doing the job nicely when @zedders pointed out I didn't really need to remove these screws so why not leave them in? He was right. But the dremel was an amazing piece of kit and went through the steel screw like a knife through butter.

 

I got home in less than an hour over took a Danbury at about 70 mph he looked shocked then slowed back to 60
Showered and went to pub
