Good luck, happy travels! If the New Forest ever takes your fancy, I have a driveway and an outside power point......
Steve, if you're heading anywhere near the cotswolds you can park in our out of way car park for couple of nights. I'll pm me number innit.
Hopefully see you on the road in a few months plus if your in the north west and need a bed for a few nights just let us know mate.
I have the same, they keep trying to take my unlimited tethering off me mind so I just threaten to leave
@zedders are you still going to tekenders? And also, i have read online that you can get a plug in adaptor for your laptop which takes a sim card and can send and recieve phone signals. Might be worth investing in one should your smartphone break or if it falls in a cow poo on your travels. So i take it you are going to hook up a trailer and take some tools along or no? You can pass by people's buses and do quick and easy mobile repairs on buses, should you ever run low on cash. Sure we all could do with that some times. Anyway, keep us posted. I am jealous that you are now free from consumerism.
Good Luck in your adventure - there is a chap on the MGA forum (MGA Guru) who did this in the States - in the last year he has done 60k miles with his MGA and trailer - but he has had the added expense of staying in Motels - and he has kept up his weekly travel -blog on his website. Doing servicing on Bays is a good idea -mine is always in need of something doing if you are passing by West Lancashire .
Er, ahem, hmm... I have no plans to drive about lying under other peoples buses in the cold windy rain, but I suppose never say never. I could come and sit on a camping chair and laugh while you guys do though? I have one vague plan of getting myself a boat to live on sometime during the year, sooner would be better but I'm not really fussed as I like the camper at the moment and the weather's only going to get better right? Albeit inside a small building I've lived in this camper since the top coat went on 5 months ago and it's slowly improved. It seems like luxury to me now it's finished, but it's been ok from day one, being semi-free from stuff that was weighing heavy. A fair few of you will know where I am today. Yep, got the awning out too for the first time, there's always something to look forward too when you're easily pleased.
