I stuck my 100w flexible solar panel on the roof yesterday, it's as light as a feather. I have room for another too if 100W is not up to it. 200W - enough for some competitive solar charging with @theBusmonkey at TE if I fit another by then. Also got me a 19 row external oil cooler. I used 13 row ones previously, but as I have a diverting thermostat in line now I figure it can't over-cool. 19 row was the biggest i can jam in the space, but I also need a scoop and dumped my power tools at my dads and I've chucked all my spare sheet steel/stainless. I did that to stop me tinkering but it hasn't worked.
LOL. you may recall that at the 'dry' TE in Sept, you & I corralled in the red zone. However the orientation was slightly different but I'm not giving all my secrets away if we're having a solar-off
"orientation ˌɔːrɪənˈteɪʃ(ə)n,ˌɒr-/ noun 1. the action of orienting someone or something relative to the points of a compass or other specified positions." Were we that drunk??
I've noticed I can lift my whole poptop, or either side or either end only. That might help quite a bit if desperate for some charge.
Find someone who works for the electricity board, get a key to take the cover off a streetlight to connect to if that desperate
I used to hook up to the sign outside little chefs as they used to have a socket on them . Keep your eyes open , other signs used to have them too. Used to pick a feed up,off street lights for temp sipplies when i was on the council and still do at work sometimes. A lot of em dont even have a lock now they are just a panel key!
We're not mentioning it, we are geeking about solar panels. The W word is the unmentionable isn't it?
