Has you will know Bob this used to be the big TLB meet up show of the year, The battle of the bays and a big turn out every year. I'm not big on shows any more but this was always one of the best

Venue mistake after the old venue was flooded out that bad wet year. They cancelled on the morning of the show and refunded everyone who had pre booked like another certain show never did but should've done, I've no idea what it's like at Newark these days

It was there that I met my very first ever TLB'rs in the flesh.

But with patience and a good therapist I'm starting to work through the issues and learning to deal with the trauma.

When it was good it was in a farmers field at Wymeswold and was scenic, it felt like normal camping, I'm not sure these show ground venues do much for me.

  12. Better when it was at Wymeswold. Showground is ok but the acoustics in the main 'barn' are awful.....felt sorry for the bands playing last year.
Fair amount of traders and tat to womble around.....

  13. Think we're gonna have a trip down as not been before and we're at the NEC on the thurday anyway. Might have a look in the air museum next door too.

the air museum is well worth a visit, not too expensive either. If you can get a cockpit tour of the Vulcan, you get about 15 mins guided tour for a quid. Again, worth doing for the experience!

  15. looks good, think we'll head over this year
