That sounds a great adventure Could call in and visit a few TLB reprobates - @Lord Congi for a few light ales or maybe @paradox and put the world to rights
Yep thats fair enough i spose. Not that im the spare wheel police but i havent made the decision as to where to put mine yet. Wish id done a split bed cusion so i could have put it in the bus really. Bad call on my part.
Looks good. With the lack of pictures I was wondering whether this was a hoax ready for April fools day.
When we had a full width westy we had feet down that end and you barely notice it. A lot of people think they look good with a wheel on the front. Not me, I don't care either way.
65 miles according to my brain, who is sat next to me at the moment! My parents live just north of Lincoln, our good friend owns a farm a few miles down the road. He charges a bottle of wine a week for storage & we have the beetle & the bus in their own exclusive warm, dry barn. Why would you not...
My dad lives in (actual) Lincoln too. @pkrboo has rels up near yours too, or maybe he lives there himself.
He lives up there, where we had the bus MOT'd actually, a few miles further north up the A15. Mine are towards Horncastle but only about 10 miles out of the city. My Grandma was moved to Lincoln today from Kent into a home in the city centre. She's 101 & starting a new chapter in her life. Incredible. It means her 80 year old daughter & son-in-law can visit regularly haha...
I wouldn't repaint him green, not because I don't like green, he hasn't been stripped of his original identity. He'll be repainted Marino Yellow as & when I get round to it. Delta Green does look nice on a bay though - if it was Gusbus back years ago, then I certainly would have considered it!
Fortwilliam has some low flying military jets if you start to miss the old place. Van looks well in daylight!
CHT experimenting. Barely twitches in cup of hot water with thermocouple extensions Reads 80 degs straight onto the gauge Reads 80 degs with 5m copper extensions I'll have to rewire.
All wired up and put quite quickly in a mug of water that was boiling now reads just shy of 100 degs.
