Hi I have heat exchangers on my van but they are not attached to anything and I have no idea what's missing. Can someone please advise what parts I need to get the heater working. If anyone has the parts I need I'll be happy to buy them. Thanks Jane
Engine type and size to start with will help. Do you have the long tube that travels the length of the van?
There should be a blower in your engine bay connected via two flexible pipes to a couple of steel pipes known as stove pipes, these go to the heat exchangers. After that there'll be two risers, then a couple of valves before the two join up to the main forward pipe. What have you got?
Here you go. I have duplicates of one tube. Sorry but I may have sold the pods previously. @janerodger
Once it's stopped raining here I'll have a look under neath and see what I have. My mechanis said there is no heater blower in the engine bay and the heater controls on dash and flaps are not connected to anything.
Will try and get under the van later to see of I need the riser pipes. Unfortunately my drive is several inches under water!
Takes me back to my first bus. I bought it new heatexchangers, risers, pods, concertina pipes, cables, replaced the long main pipe, started it up and smoke came out of the dash.
