78 CREWCAB
« on: Tue 08/06/10, 11:47 »
Hi i have 1978 crewcab which it seems im going to have to move on. The pickup is a uk van RHD and i have owned for around four years has 86k on the clock for which i have every mot from new to show is correct also every tax disc and piece of paperwork the van has ever had. It has the bows for the back but no canvus and some small spares to go with it.The person i brought the van off has known the van from new as it was his work van at ramsgate docks where it was used to run fuel batteries etc for the unloading of beetles and vans to these shores which i think is pretty cool he then brought the van himself and used it as family transport until i brought it of him.I used the van for couple of years then parked it up in my garage awaiting a full resto but have realised cant do it justice.Mechanicaly the van is perfect and i would drive it anywhere it will have a new MOT in a couple of weeks the body work is whats needed incuding front panel cab doors rear door can be repaired arches steps rear arches dropsides need repair or replace but are very straght but holed the load bed has holes and i would replace but could be repaired it comes down to how far you want to go with it.I am selling as i cant do the work my self so im thinking 5k anyone pics on request as i cant seem to post here cheers

having looked round it at peppercorn (the numberplate caught my eye first as my first car was a Dolomite that was TFN 293 T) I'd love it but I think you need to drop your price considerably... if it was a number beginning with a 2 I'd consider it
