Cheers for that, Birdy!
All publicity is good publicity

I do have a JK awning but I don't want it lowered. As for a proper spread I can't deny I'd be pleased, but I don't recall any full features on hand painted campers so maybe it's not what they look for and it was my suggestion to the magazine for a "back to mine" as I felt it a more realistic request.
I get plenty of interest in it everywhere we go and people always take photos as we drive along and when we park up. I stopped on the slipway on Saturday and a guy is taking pics before I can unhitch the trailer, at the B.Bridge show I couldn't get the kids out before more pics! On the motorway to Carshalton the other day people in all sorts of cars

to us as they go past with big smiles.
Naturally I get a huge kick out of this! It's not why I did the Flagbus, but I'm glad all the hard work gets admired and hopefully it spurs people on to do theirs- just like I was spurred on by looking at all those featured buses in the mags.
Flagbus took nearly 500 hours of my time from start to today but I took the easy route and invested in a good shell. I take my hat off to those who restore buses that require the bottom 12" replacing and saving a bay in the process- no way could I have done that!.
I will be genuinely thrilled just to get a pic in the mag. There are many buses on this site alone finished to a far higher standard than mine and if I was the editor they would come before a "novelty" camper.
I'm more than content to just enjoy my camper and the company of the good tlb folk such as yourself at the shows, long after the paint has faded!
