A couple of very useful books are:
How to modify Bus suspension, Brakes & Chassis for high performance
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Volkswagen-Suspension-Chassis-Performance-Speedpro/dp/1903706149/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1256937642&sr=1-1-fkmr1

and

VW Bus Custom Handbook
http://www.amazon.co.uk/VW-Bus-Handbook-Laurence-Meredith/dp/1870979478/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1256937712&sr=1-1

On VW Heritage they are approx £20 - £25 each, on Amazon they are around £16.99 and £10.49 each. Bit of a difference!

A must for anyone with an injected bus, beetle, 411 and Porsche 914. 25 page VW service manual with technical and testing data for the VW mechanic made by VWoA 1978. Helped me when l had injection troubles but didn't stop me from ripping it out and fitting carbs.
