If a dog wants to scratch something, it will leave a mark, no matter what the materials is..

However, vinyl will clean up better, and not clutch hold of hair like fabric materials... and probally wont mark as much as leather..

I got vinyl and a Dog... No worries yet.. The kids are worse.. :o

Vw - I like'm all
In it for the long haul.. :bag:

Ive got vinyl front seats and they are great but have fabric on my RnR bed as i have had vinyl in past buses and found it cold to sleep on in winter (even with sheet/sleeping bag) and hot sweaty in mid summer.
I have also take my dog away with me but dont let her get up on the bed. However at night she does sit on the drivers seat and poke her head out of the other side of the curtains so she can see whats going on.  ::)

i had vinyl faux leather for the front seats and fabric on the back for sleeping on..
was going to have reversable cushions but because of the bolt fastening in r+r bed it was not posible.....

Hiya Tashandpip,
Go for auto grade vinyl and you will be fine. My little mut regularly scratches up the front seats trying to make a bed and no visible marks! Julie

I'd never opt for vinyl. In the summer you stick to it and l can't think of anything worse. Like what l have, I'd go for fabric and have it done again in a few years time if it wears through. Nasty memories of my Grandad's Datsun 140J in the summer springs to mind with vinyl.
