I know it's not a Bay but...

I know it's not a Late Bay or even a VW but I thought you guys maybe interested in the car that I am hopefully buying (as long as the owner doesn't pull out of the deal!)

It's a 1962 Ford Zephyr Mk2 2.5 It has a recently reconditioned Mk3 Zephyr engine and new gearbox.

The interior is OK with just a few seams to sort out. The main problem areas are the door edges. sills and boot.  The chromework is very good.

I have lusted after one of these for years as my Dad had one (Salmon pink and Grey!!!) and when I lost my Dad last year it brought the need to own one back to the fore :)

What do you guys think?

Looks in superb nick too and original condition. I'm a real sucker for chrome, white walls on cool wheels and a red interior so it ticks all the boxes for me!

To be honest it looks better in the photos than it actually is  ;)

However, it is mainly bodywork and paint thats required rather than chassis, mechanical or electrical. So thats a bonus  :)

Its just a shame I have no talent for bodywork or paintwork and will have to pay someone else to do it! :cry:
