Yuh huh......I think we'd only need a tad more encouragement to turn Betty into a glitterball disaster area  :).
Love your interior btw. ::)

If you want little down lighters, try Ikea. They do battery powered LED lamps. I'm always leaving one on while l chill outside the bus and the batteries last for ages. My 2 are stuck on using velcro so l can move them around. Usually have one over the bed pillows, one stuck to a kitchen cabinet or fabric on the upper bed and when l have the awning, one on the door.

Ok so Betty is in being fettled before her interior refit and as suspected some baddies are coming out to play

She had some steering issues - look what they found when they had a poke around

 :o :o :o Now I'm no mechanic but I don't think a shock absorber should look like that!  ;)

Leaky door off - as you can see she had the WORST spray job ever so at some point she'll be redone - for now she'll do

Waiting to see what else turns up  thing is I saw her and fell in love with her and even though she has a few 'issues' who doesn't? I love her more because she's slightly flawed  ::)

LOL I don't know if you can call it fun - but to be honest I am slightly  at how emotional attached to that little bus I've become in the short time we've had her. When she was chugging behind my car on the motorway I kept looking at her in my rear view mirror and smiling because she has such a pretty face and then thinking oh god Nixy you've proper lost the plot now  :p

Anyway it took an hour to get the dodgy door seal off her - it's becoming really apparent that she has had some bodge work on her - but that's ok. She has me and Mrs N to love her now  ::)

See.
Plot.

Completely lost.

Lovely Devon conversion  afro
Those curtains are the  :dog: bollocks.
When I picked up my van the owner said his Mrs chose the curtains and you might want to change them,I kinda agreed until I saw how they looked from the outside at night when the lights were on inside, you could see all the flowers and it rocked.
heres my curtains, apologies about the picture as its the only one I have of the inside (insurance wanted one)

Sounds like Bettys in very good hands  :ha:
Mines been under a cover here in Manchester the last few weeks but the sun came out today and so I took the cover off just to look at her.
Going to have to get the brother in law to help me put the cover back on now as its going to rain tomorrow and its now dark  :)
Worth it though  :um:

Hell yeah, course it is  :) Betty lives under a JK cover and you should see me clambering all over her to get it back on - there is lots of jumping and cursing. Howeer the one benefit of her riding so ruddy high is that I have no problem crawling right underneath her to fasten the clips LOL

My sister leant me her caravan cover so its huge, snapped the arial off the 1st time I put it on.
I think Moneypenny rides to high as well as sometimes when I go over speed bumps its like an Alton towers ride  :spin:

Ok here's one thing that bugs the hell out of me about Betty and I figure someone on here will be able to tell me why

She looks like she's got new bumpers on - but why the buggery chuff didn't they fit them using the holes pre drilled??? Are they the wrong bumpers? Everytime I look at them they make me grrrrr  :s look you can see the holes, what's with that???

But I do love her shiny new aerial - one step closer to having tunes!  :jaffa: and oh oh oh, just noticed, you can just about see her brand new shiny blue seat belts  :D :D :D :D :D :D

looks like you might of had something else fitted over them. they are right ones.

measure the gaps between bolts and post it up, then you can work out which are correct holes and take it from there ;)

Buy the luxury bumper rubber insert trim and those bolts will vanish forever. Also handy for parking tooand protecting the paint on the bumpers.
