HORSE SHOE LOWERING PLATES
« on: Sat 23/01/10, 10:29 »
Hi guys anybody interested in a set of horse shoe plates for lowering the rear of your bus.
They'll lower the rear of your bay window about 3.25" but the best bit is that they'll maintain the stock camber and leave your spring plate in its original location so the ride should be nice .

Includes all hardware, (nuts and bolts)

£110 posted UK.

PM me if you're interested

Cheers

How does a 3 1/4" drop compare with dropping 1 spline, is it the same drop or are these equivalent to say 2 splines??

If you have a look on earlybay.com , there is a thread on these in the forsale area. At the start of the thread is a pic of my van with as set fitted so you can see where it goes from standard.

I personaly think this is as low as you can go with a nice stance and drive. Combined with a 4"drop on the front makes for a nice level van,

Id say its somewhere between 1 and 2 splines.,

Thanks Neil.
