Apart from the previous owners addresses what do you get?

Admittedly I would like to give some previous owners a good kicking for their shoddy quality repairs, but I don't see what benefit it would possibly give me to know that in 1984 my VW was owned by Mr Smith who lived at "Number 17, Any Street, Placename, UK"

this is great if you want to do your homework. they provide you a list, you then keep it as a bit of history or write to all PO's asking for more info etc

Thats fair enough, didn't see that way of thinking since my VW has had over 20 owners in its 30 years and I wouldn't expect many to still live in the same place!

Hi again,
Along these lines can you tell me if my van, which i bought in Northern Ireland and was Historic, now that i have changed the v5 to my name it has come back from swansea as non historic, naturally ive challenged this, does anyone know why it should by different as northern ireland comes under the same rules as us.
